South Australia has recorded two new COVID-19 cases today. Another truck driver has tested positive for COVID-19 in South Australia. The driver aged in his 60s arrived in South Australia from New South Wales last night and was tested at Yamba in the Riverland.
SA Health authorities believe the man was in the early stages of infection because he’d delivered a negative result to a test in New South Wales earlier on Friday. The man has had one dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Three petrol stations have been listed as exposure sites, along with a laundromat and supermarket in Adelaide’s north.
The other case is a woman in her 50s who arrived from overseas and is now in a medi-hotel. There are now currently four active cases in the state.
